I {heart} snickerdoodles!!!

These are SOOO yummy! I love me some super soft snickerdoodles! And how cute are they with the little pearls on them?!?

Okay....here's the recipe:

1/2 c.shortening

1/2 c. butter

1 1/2c. sugar

2 eggs

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. soda

2 tsp. cream of tartar

3 c. flour

Mix shortening , butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into balls, roll in sugar & cinnamon mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.

My oven took about 9 to 10 minutes to get them the way I wanted them.

So cute rolled into the balls with the pearls on top. I got these pearls at Winco. I saw them and got them. I know that Taget and Wal-mart have them too, but in GIANT bottles. Winco was a smaller bottle that didn't cost as much. I get my stingy-ness from my mom! HA!

I went upstairs for a couple minutes to change the babe's diaper,

came back down and the older two had nearly eaten them all!

If the boy will eat them, then they are DELISH!!! He is the pickiest kid EVER!!

Another story..

..these beaters have served their time and now it is time that they go back to their home in heaven! They pooped out on me while making these delish little beauts! Smoke and all!
