My wall....what I've done with some of my platters

Okay, this has been done for a while and I'm just now getting to posting it.But hey....better late than never, right?

Okay so this is what I have done with a wall in my front room. This is the first thing I have done with this room. I don't feel much motivation cause we don't have furniture in there yet...but I think it is looking pretty cute now....furniture or not!

You like my temporary furniture in the corner for the time being??

I can't stand having nothing in there. LOL

So this whole wall minus the photos and "family" sticker is all

THRIFT!!!

All those platters and the frames are all from the DI!

Told ya I love me some platters! haha

And that's not even the half of them!

Okay...so here is what I did with the frames:

This is what they looked like before I got to them....not bad...but not ME!

They are all 11x14

This is after paint and distressing.

And this is what they look like close up after I stained them.

I forgot to do an after before all the pics were in them.

But aren't they cute?? Much more ME!

And so much cheaper than buying from the store.

for all 3 I spent $4.50...that's $1.50 per frame!

YEEEEHAWW!!!

So there you have it....what I have been wanting to do with

my platter obsession!
